Remarkable night. Barack Obama dug deep and came up with a speech that was loaded with answers about the questions about his background and ability to lead.
Having been there, the electricity was transmitted to the 70,000 plus crowd by a breath-taking speech, which was the best of Obama's career and perhaps one of the great speeches in American politics (pardon the gushing). There is no way the McCain camplaign will be able to counter the spectacle and heavy meaning of this event.
More than theater, as fine as it was, heading out of Invesco last night were some where around 30,000 Coloradans who are ready to go, work for Obama and win their state.
But of course, the GOP are the masters at the game of lowered expectations.
