Cong. Paul Ryan has come up with his Budget Boondoggle Award, a copy of Bill Proxmire's Golden Fleece Awards to recognize government waste. Ryan could even out do Prox in coming up with a catchier name.
But the big issue is his first award were to two projects running only $59 million. Any chance Bush's Iraq occupation coming at 10,000 times more will earn one of these babies?
