Well, people are probably expecting me to comment about it, so I guess I should

Let me say this, first, though: I wasn't really following the run-up, and I certainly don't have any kind of strong attachment to either of the people involved in what went down. But since it is THE story of the last few weeks, it's hard not to hear about it and the pressure, as a member of the commentariat, to opine is pretty strong, especially now that the outcome is clear.
