1. I'm wrapping up my column for the Bay View Compass, and it concerns the state budget stalemate. In the process, I found this (.pdf), which presents a side-by-side-by-side-by-side view of the various budget proposals going. Very helpful.
2. A valued correspondent sent me this link (.rtf) to a study on school and school distrcit size (appropos to this post from Monday). I haven't read it yet (see above about being on a deadline), but I will.
